ALERT!! PLEASE HELP!!

Dear wolf lovers

New hunting season for wolves have begun in Poland. This year limit have been set at totally unrealistic level of 98 wolves to be shut to death just in Krosnienskie. Counting by the hunters say about 200 wolves. Independent sources say about about 100 wolves living there. Shooting 98 wolves will just destroy population there. This decision was done without any consultations with ecologists and was written just before change of the government. Document copies are difficult to obtain and nobody responsible for this action can be contacted. Chief of local administration says that after shutting down 30 wolves he will stop this action but if his intentions would be clear then he could sign bill for 30 wolves not for nearly 100. What is more important he probably will leave the post (due to the Gov. change) and new man will be placed there not limited by this 'proposal'. Please help us fighting for wolves lives.
I have searched for any e-mail addresses to send protests and found some for Ministry of Environment Protection (at last...). I listed those found below. Anyway search of proper email addresses is continued.

General notice - all phones are in Poland so it will be an international
(probably costly) call. In USA after dialling 011 (international prefix)
you dial 48 (country code) 22 (for Warsaw city code or 13 for Krosno),
then 6 or 7 digits fax number. I checked most of those fax numbers.

As for now I think this kind of direct action is the best solution. Stronger actions that could really harm new government would do more evil than good. For example -as for now- I would rather discourage using US, CA or other local government or senate / congress members. Please remember that this situation is IMHO partially a political manipulation of previous government and our job is to remind new people about this not to kill them. :> In other words - too strong attack could make them to feel that their independence is in danger and will make them to hold their post till the death (of the last wolf...)
